Our original classic fishcakes are handmade with chunky white fish, spring onions, fresh herbs and just the right amount of seasoning. Wightcakes are named after the beautiful Isle of Wight, which is where we first crafted them from a catch of white fish sustainably fished by the Yarmouth Fishermen’s Association.

Packed with only the finest haddock, cod, hake and coley, these gourmet fishcakes are made from chunky fish fillets including all the trimmings, making them a low-impact, waste-saving product. We are passionate about the environment and sustainability and we work locally with fishermen and local producers.

Wightcakes make the perfect quick dinner, serve with a side of fresh garden peas and thick-cut wedges.

Available in packs of 4 (serves 2) or packs of 15.

Keep refrigerated – below 4°C. Suitable for home freezing.

Ingredients

Cooked white fish (37%), cooked potatoes, egg, sunflower oil, spring onion (6%), breadcrumbs (wholemeal wheat flour, wheat flour [calcium carbonate, iron niacin thiamin], water, salt, yeast, palm stearin, rapeseed oil), onion, lemon juice, parsley, wheat flour [calcium carbonate, iron niacin thiamin], lemon zest, sunflower oil, seasoning.

ALLERGENS: see ingredients in bold. May also contain traces of nuts and sesame seeds.

Though every care is taken, fish may contain traces of shell or bone.

Cooking Instructions

Remove all packaging and place on a baking tray.

Fresh: Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) / Gas mark 4 for 15-20 minutes until crispy. Can be fried.

Frozen: DO NOT DEFROST. Cook in a preheated oven at 170°C (fan) / Gas mark 3 for 25-30 minutes until piping hot.
